Junior at UC Berkeley studying CS + Data Science. Passionate about education and building technology centered on systems, people, and culture.
About Me
I'm a junior at UC Berkeley double majoring in Computer Science and Data Science. I care about how technology shapes people, culture, and institutions.
I love all things outdoors like hiking, camping, backpacking, and traveling in general. I'm a dancer hip-hop, contempoary, modern, and attemtping to get through all the top 100 IMDb movies!
I'm looking for opportunities at the intersection of product, engineering, and meaningful impact.
Work & Projects
Software Engineering · Multi-Agent Systems
Built and migrated an AI-powered multi-agent system integrating LP solvers, S3, DynamoDB, and internal data sources to streamline supply-demand analysis and planning workflows, improving performance and reliability.
Engineering · IoT Systems
Designed and built an Arduino-based device with GPS and ultrasonic sensors to enable real-time bus tracking, crowd estimation, and reservations through a companion app, improving reliability and reducing missed buses.
Entreprenurship · Healthcare
Created and pitched a patient-focused home therapy app that re-imagines and motivates physical therapy, improving patient turnover rates and benefitting exercise facilities. As the Chief Design Officer, I designed the user flow for the web and mobile app, and created wireframes for the app prototype.
Machine Learning · Conservation
Utilized XGBoost and LSTM models to analyze over 10,000 data points, identifying key relationships between per/poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and geological factors across California. Worked closely with a team of 6 data scientists to apply regression models to assess health risks, pinpointing the top 10% of regions most susceptible to PFAS contamination with correlating socioeconomic census data.
Research · LLM
Investigated LLM overconfidence across benchmarks using the OpenAI API and Llama-3.1 8B, correlating stated confidence levels with actual accuracy via one-sample t-tests. Also replicated Francesca Gino's 2010 behavioral study (flagged for misconduct), collecting 80+ Qualtrics responses and running 2×2 and mixed-measures ANOVAs.

Whenever I go to Taipei, it always feels like my second home. The familiar smells and sounds of the streets greet me and comfort my soul. The kindness of the people and ability to go anywhere I want without feeling constrained what I cherish most about Taiwan. Everyone goes about their day just living their lives in the most authentic way, and as a traveler who has been to Taiwan almost every single year, it is so comforting knowing this is another place in the world I can relax and truly live.
What I learned: Taiwan, although a small country, always finds ways to overcome challenges. Now is a difficult time with pressure from other countries, but everyone continues holding their head up and keep their lives going. I'll always love the culture, vibrancy, and people of Taiwan.
Go to Elephant Mountain at dusk for the skyline, then come down into the city for a bowl of beef noodle soup. Then for dessert, stop at the Smoothie House for mango shaved ice (summer is the best season)
Xingtian Temple
Taipei 101 from Elephant Mountain
Chiang Kai-shek Memorial

Elephant Mountain at sunset
40-minute hike. The Taipei 101 view is worth every step.
Raohe Night Market
Better than Shilin for locals. Try the black pepper bun at the temple entrance.
Lin Dong Fang Beef Noodle
Order the braised beef, extra broth. Sit at a shared table. Life-changing.

Seoul moves fast — the energy is electric and everything feels intentionally designed to be cool. Walking from Hongdae to Yongsan felt like watching a city that decided it was going to be the future and then made it happen.
What struck me was the visual culture: the craft that goes into everyday things, from cafe interiors to street-level packaging design. Seoul taught me that aesthetics are never purely superficial.
Go to a jjimjilbang. Eat tteokbokki at 2am. Take the subway everywhere — notice the public art.
Recommendations
Dragon Hill Spa (Yongsan)
Go late. Multiple floors of baths and saunas. The rooftop is a secret.
Yeonnam-dong neighborhood
Best indie cafes in the city. Low tourist traffic, high character.
Gwangjang Market
Bindaetteok and makgeolli. Sit at the counter, point at things, eat everything.
United Kingdom · Western Europe
London surprised me with its contradictions — ancient and modern, formal and deeply scrappy. The tube feels like a character study in British social norms. The museums (free!) feel like a small miracle every visit.
What I learned: great cities hold their history without being trapped by it. London layers eras — Georgian next to brutalist next to glass tower — and somehow it coheres.
Go to Borough Market on a Saturday. Walk along the Thames at golden hour. Find a pub and stay too long.
Recommendations
Borough Market (Saturday morning)
Arrive early. Bring cash. Everything is incredible — especially the cheese.
The Barbican Centre
Brutalist complex, great exhibitions, a good bookshop, and an unexpected lake.
Tate Modern (always free)
The Turbine Hall installation alone is worth the trip every time.

New York validates all your ambition and exhausts you equally. It's the only place where I've felt completely anonymous and completely seen in a single subway ride.
What I noticed: New York is a reminder that urban density, when it works, creates the richest social texture. The accidental encounters, the overheard conversations, the shared public space.
Skip Midtown. Go to the outer boroughs. Eat a bagel at 8am and take the 1 train south with no plan.
Recommendations
Flushing, Queens
Best Chinese food outside of China. Go hungry, order aggressively, stay late.
The Met (pay what you wish)
Spend 4 hours minimum. Go on a weekday morning. Skip the European paintings.
Smalls Jazz Club (Greenwich Village)
$25 cover, open until 4am. This is the real New York.
